Guilford County – The High Point Center for Active Adults and GTCC Aviation Center
NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
JOINT-PROJECT INTEREST MEETING: Blum Construction is collaborating with the City of High Point and Guilford Technical Community College to host a joint-project interest meeting for two upcoming construction projects in Guilford County – The High Point Center for Active Adults and GTCC Aviation Center. The Joint Session will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 4:00pm-5:30pm at 1201 Bonner Drive, Jamestown, NC 27282 (Percy H. Sears Applied Technologies Center, Room 120). All trade partners are encouraged to attend to connect, engage and learn more about how to participate in these major projects.
Center for Active Adults: The new center will feature multiple lounges, a large multipurpose space, storage, a catering kitchen, an art studio, office and conference areas, a fitness studio with a walking track and more. Exterior plans include a relocated community garden, a new pickleball court, paving and related site work.
Guilford Tech Aviation Center: As a part of Phase I of their Cameron Campus expansion, Guilford Technical Community College is constructing a new two-story 70,000 square-foot building for their Aviation Program. The building will consist of classrooms, lab spaces, manufacturing and fabrication areas, as well as offices and student lounge areas.
This meeting will be held in-person on GTCC’s campus in Jamestown, NC.
