Blum Construction will accept proposals until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, for the Western Carolina University – Quad Stair project located in Cullowhee, NC.

Western Carolina University is currently looking to renovate an existing courtyard at the Hunter Library on campus, along with constructing a new addition at the library as well. This project is located on their campus in Cullowhee, NC. The project will involve demolition of existing exterior finishes & structures, along with select interior demolition to tie into the new addition. Exterior work will include site demolition, grading, landscaping, utility work, hardscapes, and more. The new addition work will include the structure, new stairs, finishes for the new space, and a storefront system. The new addition’s square footage is 1,055 SF.

This project has a goal of 10% MWBE participation. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support:  quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
