Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of; interior renovations of an existing 21,316 square foot single story elementary school building including site development, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, will be received  by Hertford County at the office of Hertford County Administration Building, Administration Conference Room, 115 Justice Dr, Winton NC until 3 pm, (Standard Time – Daylight Savings Time) May 20, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:

Offices of Oakley Collier Architects; and in the plan rooms of the Carolinas Associated General Contractors, Raleigh, NC, in the local North Carolina offices of Dodge Data & Analytics, and in the Eastern Regional Office of Construction Market Data in Norcross, GA and in Minority Plan Rooms in the NC Institute of Minority Economic Development, Inc in Durham, NC and in East Coast Digital – Minority Plan Room Provider, Greenville, NC.

An open Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am on April 30, 2025, at Project Site, 200 Talmage Ave, Ahoskie, NC. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms.

Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of Oakley Collier Architects located at 109 Candlewood Road, Rocky Mount, NC upon payment of $350.00 for each set or Free of Charge for a digital download.

Any BIDDER, upon returning the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS promptly and in good condition, will be refunded the payment, and any non-bidder upon so returning the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be refunded $350.00.
