Blum Construction will accept proposals until 1:00 pm on May 19, 2025, for the Gemeinhaus & Distiller’s House Repairs project located in Winston-Salem, NC.

The scope of work for this project includes the following: Selective demolition, structural framing repairs, exterior finish carpentry, wood shingle roofing, lead-coated copper roofing and flashing, exterior painting and other repair work indicated in the Contract Documents for the 1788 Gemeinhaus and 1803 Distiller’s House.

This project has a goal of 7% MBE and 3% WBE participation. Please include the provided MWBE forms with all bids. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support:  quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
