ECU Health North Hospital MOB #1 AHU Replacement project located in Roanoke Rapids, NC

Blum Construction will accept proposals until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, for the ECU Health North Hospital MOB #1 AHU Replacement project located in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

The work shall include but not limited remove and replace the existing 18,000 CFM Air Handling Unit (AHU) and associated air-cooled chiller at 210 Smith Church Road and replace with a new 18,000 CFM DX packaged Air Handling Unit. The new unit will be located on grade outside the mechanical room. Existing chilled water equipment and piping will be removed. The existing 480V electrical panel MDP will serve the new unit.

This project has a goal of 7% MBE participation and 4% WBE participation. Please include the MWBE forms provided with all bids. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support:  quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
