PREQUALIFICATION ADVERTISEMENT

 

Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by North Carolina State University and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for Phase 2 of the Polk Hall Renovation project in Raleigh, NC.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This renovation to North Carolina State University’s Polk Hall aims to address program and facility needs and prepare for coordination with the new neighboring Integrated Sciences building. The renovation includes rework and repair to the existing façade, addition of an interior stairwell, new vertical MEP chases, replacement of elevator, and exterior rework to meet ADA and provide access to new entrance locations.

There is an established 20% MWBE participation goal on this project. Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support include quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
