The Town of Hertford is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified electrical engineering firms to provide consulting services for the development of a second point of delivery (POD) substation. Services will include system studies, site evaluation, utility coordination, substation design, permitting support, and construction-phase assistance.
Interested firms must demonstrate expertise in high-voltage substation projects, utility coordination, and regulatory compliance. Submittals should include firm qualifications, relevant experience, key personnel, and project approach.
Copies of the detailed request for qualifications (RFQ) including a description of the services to be provided by respondents, the minimum content of responses, and the factors to be used to evaluate the responses, can be found on the Town website www.townofhetfordnc.com/submit-a-bid or can be obtained by contacting Doris Walton, Town Manager at (252) 435-8549.
