THE PIEDMONT TRIAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT INVITES SEALED
BIDS FOR THE PERIMETER ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Bid documents can be obtained online at https://bidportal.mjinc.com/bidportal/index under the project name “Piedmont Triad International Airport – Perimeter Road Reconstruction,” starting on August 13, 2025. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the project documents and in a sealed envelope clearly marked as specified in the bid documents.
A non-mandatory but highly recommended Pre-Bid Conference will be held virtually and in person, at the Stanley Frank Board Room at the Piedmont Triad International Airport on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm. A non-mandatory site visit will be held after the meeting.

The Piedmont Triad Airport Authority will receive Bids for the Perimeter Road Reconstruction Project, until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at which time all Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in person in the Stanley Frank Board Room at the Piedmont Triad International Airport. Bids received after 1:00 pm on September 10, 2025, will not be accepted.
If not enough bids are received, there will be a secondary in person bid opening on September 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Stanley Frank Board Room at the Piedmont Triad International Airport.
Any contract regarding this bid must be approved by Piedmont Triad Airport Authority, who reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it’s in its best interest to do so. The owner does not discriminate against any bidder because of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award. Contractors will be required to meet the combined MBE/WBE participation goal of 6% as an affirmative action requirement. Trade Restriction Certification, Buy American Preference, Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, Davis-Bacon Act, and NC Wage rates apply. Contractors shall not be debarred or suspended by any federal agency to participate.
