ITB: SOUTHPORT SEWER LIFT STATION REPLACEMENT-REBID
Brunswick County (“County” or “Owner”) is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of: Southport Sewer Lift Station Replacement, DWI Project No. SRP-W-ARP-0105. Sealed bids must be received by 3:00 p.m. ET on September 4, 2025, in the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center located at 250 Grey Water Road NE, Supply, NC 28462. Bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, including all equipment required, as detailed in the technical specifications, construction drawings, and summary of work contained herein. Any changes to the specifications or summary of work or clarifications to the bidding documents will be made in the form of an addendum hereto and will be supplied to all known prospective bidders and posted on the County’s website. Notwithstanding the foregoing, bidders will be responsible for ensuring that they have all addenda.
A general description of the work includes, without limitation: Rehabilitation and replacement of facilities and equipment at three (3) lift stations located at Moore Street, Ninth Street, and Park Avenue in the City of Southport, NC.
Pre-Bid Meeting:
A pre-bid meeting was held on July 1, 2025. The agenda for the meeting is included in Addendum No. 1.
Site Visitation:
Individual inspection of the proposed construction sites may be allowed only by approval of Brunswick County. Telephone or email Robert Miller at [email protected], (910) 253-1759 (Office) to schedule a visit.
A paper copy of the Contract Documents may be purchased for $180.00 while the download will be available for $135.00 by visiting www.wkdicksonplanroom.com. Payment must be by either credit card, check/money order made payable to Duncan-Parnell, or by Duncan-Parnell Account. Please note that only registered plan holders may bid as General Contractor. Registration on the Plan Room is free of charge. County will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including any addendum, obtained from any other source.
No refund for any Contract Documents shall be made, and no partial sets of the Contract Documents will be issued. The Contract Documents will be posted at the following locations:

Questions or requests for further information regarding this Invitation to Bid shall be submitted in writing to the attention of Monroe Huckaby, PE, at [email protected] no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on August 26, 2025. A copy of all questions, further clarifications and answers will be made in the form of an Addendum to this Invitation to Bid and will be provided to all known bidders and posted on the County’s website. Notwithstanding the foregoing, bidders will be responsible for ensuring that they have all addenda.
Sealed bids may only be received by mail or hand delivery. Sealed bids shall be labeled with the project name, Contractor’s name, address, and license number, and must be marked “SEALED BID, DO NOT OPEN.” Sealed Bids shall be sent to:
