Mitchell County, North Carolina, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering and related services for a FEMA-funded Hazard Mitigation Grant Project along Cane Creek in the Town of Bakersville, Mitchell County, North Carolina. Services may include, but are not limited to, planning, engineering design, permitting, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, bidding assistance, and construction administration for hazard mitigation improvements eligible under FEMA grant programs.

Statements of Qualifications must be received no later than 2:00 PM local time on Friday, March 13, 2026. Submissions received after this time will be considered late and will not be accepted. Faxed submissions will not be accepted.
