Mitchell County, North Carolina, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering and related services for FEMA-funded disaster repairs to Fire Protection and Prevention Water Points located throughout Mitchell County, North Carolina. Services may include, but are not limited to, planning, engineering design, permitting, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, bidding assistance, and construction administration for fire protection and prevention infrastructure repairs eligible under FEMA disaster assistance programs.

Statements of Qualifications must be received no later than 2:00 PM local time on Friday, March 13, 2026. Submissions received after this time will be considered late and will not be accepted. Faxed submissions will not be accepted.

Submittals shall be clearly marked “RFQ – FEMA Fire Protection & Prevention Water Point Engineering Services” and addressed to:
