Sealed Bid Auction of Appliances and Miscellaneous Equipment

SEALED BID AUCTION OF APPLIANCES AND MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT

Bids will be received by the Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HPHA) for the sale of various appliances, power tools, and miscellaneous items until 5:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, April 2, 2026. The bids can be sent by email to [email protected], standard mail, certified mail, courier or personal delivery to the HPHA main entrance at 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, NC 27260. No faxed or other bids will be accepted.

Anyone wishing to place a bid must obtain a bid form from the Procurement Officer before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Requests can be made in person, by phone or email.

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. the various appliances, power tools and miscellaneous items can be viewed in person. All interested parties will need to report to the Main Entrance at 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, NC, 27260 and report in with the Receptionist. This will be the only date and time for public viewing. No exceptions.

All Bids are final. The winning bidder(s) will be informed by email before 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. All materials are to be picked up by 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. If arrangements are not made for the items to be picked up by that date and time, the award will go to the next highest bidder. They will have until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, to pick up the item(s). If the second highest bidder does not plan to pick up the item(s) by the designated time, it will go to the third highest bidder and will continue like that until the item(s) has been picked up. All items will be paid for by money order or check and made payable to Housing Authority of the City of High Point, before the item(s) are released.

Appliances: Mix of used refrigerators, used ranges, water heaters, check printer, check counter, VulcanHart convection oven, one industrial stand mixer, power tools, and copier. These items are used and are no longer in working condition.
