FAYETTEVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY – COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

Metcon, Inc., In Association with Raleigh Raised Development, the Construction Manager on behalf of Fayetteville State University, College of Education will receive Sealed Bids from Prequalified 1st Tier Contractors on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM, 1073 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC  28301 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment.  A virtual bid opening will be held at 2:00 PM via Zoom, following the close of the bid deadline.  If necessary, a Re-bid will be scheduled for Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, at 2:00 PM, 1073 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC  28301.

Project Description:
The Fayetteville State University New College of Education will begin prequalifying for select early bid packages.  The building consists of classroom, lab, collaborative space, and offices.  The overall project scope is a new four-story, structural steel building of approximately 74,058 GSF with exterior improvements such as parking, outdoor learning, main entry plaza, and various landscape/hardscape features.  The project will include sitework, structure, building envelope consisting of masonry, glazing, and metal panels, fully finished interiors, complete MEP, full building sprinkler system, and required trades to complete new construction of the education building.

An open Pre-Bid and MWSBE Outreach meeting will be held on-site and virtual for ALL interested firms on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM at 1073 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC  28301.  The Meeting will address project-specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms.
