Preserve at Longbranch Roadway Improvements

(RFB #24-005) 

Sealed informal bids will be received until March 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM, by the County of Wake Purchasing Department, Room 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 South McDowell Street, Raleigh, N.C. 27601 for providing labor, material, and equipment and entering into a contract for the Preserve at Longbranch Roadway Improvements.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on February 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM, onsite at the Preserve at Longbranch Farm Subdivision. 3409 Griffice Mill Rd. Raleigh, NC 27610.  Meet at Subdivision Entrance on Griffice Mill Road.

The Project consists of but is not limited to:  Full depth reclamation (FDR) for pavement, Shoulder re-grading, ditch regrading, additional rip-rap, and geotextile underliner for ditches where needed.

Complete Bidding Documents including plans and specifications may be obtained from The Wooten Company, 120 N. Boylan Ave., Raleigh, NC 27603.  Electronic documents will be provided at no cost upon request.  If desired, hard copies may be obtained at the office of the Engineer upon providing a one hundred dollar ($100.00) non-refundable fee.

With request for Bidding Documents supply the following information:  Company name, contact person, street address, and phone and fax numbers for Bidding office; N. C. contractor’s license with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Bidder, Supplier or Sub-Contractor.

Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87, and the Instructions to Bidders.

Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
