EC Office is actively soliciting bids for Bertie County Animal Shelter (Due 02/20/2024 @ 2:00 p.m.).

Project Description:
The project consists of site work for and construction of a one-story, “CORE” Animal Shelter of some 1,518 square feet with two ADD Alternates increasing the space by 780 square feet.  Elements of site work i.e.; paving and K9 grass in the outdoor exercise area will also be bid as third and fourth Add Alternates.  The work includes site clearing and preparation, site paving and fencing, and extension of water & sewer to the site.  The Base Bid for the shelter includes unprotected, combustible building construction type VB.  Work includes mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work throughout.

MBE/WBE/SBE/DBE/HUB participation is encouraged.  Elements of the work may be combined or broken down to facilitate minority participation.  Assistance with bonding or insurance requirements as well as quick pay arrangements are available to enable minority contractors to meet cash-flow demands.  Email bids to [email protected] .  Plans/specs available on our website, www.archesson.com/bids .  For more information, contact us at 800-849-4486.  A.
