PRE-BID MEETINGS AND BID OPENINGS

Rodgers will receive sealed proposals from project specific prequalified firms for bid package 31A Complete Sitework until 3:00 p.m. on November 19, 2024, at Cabarrus County Schools Facilities and Maintenance Department, 4425 Old Airport Road, Concord, NC 28025 for the construction of the Coltrane-Webb / Beverly Hills Replacement Elementary School at which time and place bids will be opened and read.

Rodgers will receive sealed proposals from project specific prequalified firms for bid packages 03A Complete Concrete Sub and Superstructures, 04A Masonry, 07A Roofing and Accessories, 07B Waterproofing and Sealants, 07E Exterior Metal Panel Systems, 08A Glass Assemblies, 08B Passage Door Assemblies, 09A Drywall Assemblies, 09C Acoustical Assemblies, 09E Floor Coverings – Resilient and Carpeting, 09F Painting and Wall Coverings, 09L Floor Coverings – Epoxy Assemblies, 09M Floor Coverings – Athletic Assemblies, 10A Specialties, 10B Signage, 10E Visual Display Surfaces and Audio-Visual Equipment, 11B  Food Service Equipment, 11E Athletic and Recreational Equipment, 11H Prefabricated Canopies, 12A Window Treatments, 12D Casework and Millwork, 14A Elevators, 18B Final Cleaning, 21A Fire Protection, 22A Plumbing Systems, 23A HVAC Systems, 23B Test and Balance, 26A Electrical, 31C Aggregate Piers, 32C Landscape and Irrigation, 32D Fencing until 2:00 p.m. on December 10, 2024 at Cabarrus County Education Center, 4401 Old Airport Road, Concord, NC 28025 for the construction of the Coltrane-Webb / Beverly Hills Replacement Elementary School at which time and place bids will be opened and read.

If three (3) bids from project specific prequalified firms are not received before the bid opening for a particular bid package, a Re-Bid Opening for that bid package will be held:

  • 31A Complete Sitework: 3:00 p.m. on November 21, 2024, at Cabarrus County Schools Facilities and Maintenance Department, 4425 Old Airport Road, Concord, NC 28025.
  • Remaining bid packages (03A – 26A, 31C – 32D): 2:00 p.m. on December 12, 2024, at Cabarrus County Schools Facilities and Maintenance Department, 4425 Old Airport Road, Concord, NC 28025.

Open pre-bid meetings will be held for all interested bidders at the date, time, and locations listed below.  The meetings will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms.  The meetings are also to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards that the owner will consider for approval on this project.

  • 31A Complete Sitework pre-bid meeting: 10:00 a.m. on October 30, 2024, at Coltrane-Webb Elementary School, 61 Spring Street NW, Concord, NC 28025.
  • Remaining bid packages (03A – 26A, 31C – 32D) pre-bid meeting: 3:00 p.m. on November 5, 2024, at R. Brown McAllister STEM Elementary, 505 Sunnyside Drive SE, Concord, NC 28025.

Door hardware exit devices by Von Duprin
Door hardware door closers by LCN
Door hardware lock housings and cores by Medeco
Door hardware locksets by Schlage
