Cabarrus Health Alliance Construction of office space for the following departments, Environmental Health, Live Well, WIC, School Health, and Case Management; as well as a 5,071 sf auditorium, and associated support spaces

INVITATION TO BID

Double sealed, single prime, lump sum proposals will be received by Cabarrus Health Alliance, 300 Mooresville Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28081, in the conference room of the Cabarrus Health Alliance; up to 4:00 pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, and opened publicly by the Owner for the furnishing of labor, material, and construction for the upfit of an approximately 40,418 sf space at 526 Cabarrus Ave W, Concord NC 28027. The space is located within the old Brown Mill which is being converted to The Rebuilder’s Campus. This adaptive re-use upfit consists of construction of office space for the following departments, Environmental Health, Live Well, WIC, School Health, and Case Management; as well as a 5,071 sf auditorium, and associated support spaces.

The estimated time frame is for construction to commence on or about September 1, 2024 and be completed by December, 2025 to be ready for the owner to occupy the space for business on January 2, 2026.

Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents will be available on Thursday, July 18, 2024, after 3:00 pm. A pdf set of plans will be emailed to the potential General Contractors. Plans will be kept on file at Duncan Parnell for any additional prints, 651 Church St. N., Concord, NC. 28026, T: 704-782-2625.

You may schedule a time to visit the site prior to the pre-bid conference by contacting Carlos J. Moore Architect PA (704-788-8333) to arrange for the building to be open and accessible for you and your sub-contractors.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held Wednesday, July 24 at 2:00 pm at the proposed site. Attendance is required by any General Contractor (or representative), submitting a bid.  Bids will not be accepted from General Contractors not represented at the pre-bid conference.
