ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

CALDWELL COUNTY SCHOOLS
CHILD NUTRITON DEPARTMENT SOFTWARE 

Sealed bids for the project entitled Child Nutrition Department Software will be received by the Caldwell County Schools until 10 a.m. local time April 10, 2025 at the Caldwell County Schools Administration Building located at 1914 Hickory Boulevard SW, Lenoir North Carolina 28645.  At said place and time, all Bids that have been duly received, will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Proposal includes the following:  CHILD NUTRITON SOFTWARE.

The software should include the following:
Point of Sale – front of house and back of house, Student Eligibility, Menu Planning, Web Menu’s, Digital Signage, Inventory, Production Records that allow the district to use their state-approved production record variance.  Online payment system and the ability to track student meal purchases, payments, and free/reduced lunch eligibility, FC1-A, General Ledger, Income Statement, Trial Balance, Revenue Summary, Fully compatible with Infinite Campus for student synchronization.  Real-time or scheduled synchronization of student data including Student ID, name, grade level, teacher name, parent email, parent name, and address.  Integration via SQL-based queries and APIs to exchange data with Infinite Campus.  The software should be equipped to export financial account information that can be imported into LINQ Financial.  Remote Support Services Set up and training for Central Office, Cafeteria Managers, and Cafeteria Assistants.

Must comply with federal and state regulations for School Nutrition Programs. 

Caldwell County Child Nutrition has 21 schools with POS systems, a central warehouse, catering site, and 35 pos lines.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the notice to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.  All bid related questions are to be submitted to [email protected] , with “CHILD NUTRITION SOFTWARE” included in the subject header of all emails.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities, or to reject non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.  The Owner reserves the right to award a contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance and time.
