Sealed proposals for a single-prime General Construction Contract will be received from Bidders by Chowan County, 305 West Freemason Street, Edenton, NC 27932, Attn.: Mr. Kevin Howard, County Manager, in Chowan County Government Offices, 2nd Floor Conference Room, up to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2024, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the construction of the:
CHOWAN COUNTY COURTHOUSE
RENOVATION PHASE 1
JKF Project No. 2023-07
Pre-Bid Meeting:
Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Courthouse Building Project Site, 101 S. Broad Street, Edenton, NC.
The meeting is also to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards that the owner will consider for approval on this project.
In accordance with GS133-3 procedures the following preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the owner for this project:
A. Preferred Brand Alternate: Corbin-Russwin Door Hardware as specified.

Contractors will comply with Federal and State E-Verify Requirements.

$200 Hard Copy; No cost PDF when registered as bidder.
The Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
