JE Dunn – McFarland, a Joint Venture, has been selected as the Construction Manager by the City of Charlotte, and is seeking to pre-qualify trade partners to submit bids for Firehouse 11 Replacement project located in Charlotte, NC.  PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a two levels firehouse, roughly 18,000 SF. Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged. Interested contractors should submit their completed Prequalification Package via email by September 06, 2024. A completed Prequalification package is only required for first tier contractors.  Owners of historically underutilized and minority businesses who do not wish to complete the prequalification package are strongly encouraged to pursue lower tier opportunities.

A Trade Partner Outreach Event will be held at the JE Dunn Charlotte office on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. From 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

It is anticipated that proposals for the completion of the Firehouse 11 will be received from pre-qualified bidders on October 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. (pending final bid invite). Any changes or more details will be posted on the Building Connected plan room for this project closer to the actual bid date.

Complete plans and specifications for this project will be available digitally at the JE Dunn Plan Room on Building Connected after the prequalification period. Questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to Camila Cox or Nick Ray.
