Colmar Contracting, Inc. invites all qualified MWBE/ HUB SUBCONTRACTORS AND VENDORS to submit proposals for the following project:
Commerce Street Apartments in Durham, NC – The new construction of 172-unit Apartment project.
Pre-Bid Meeting February 16, 2024, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Durham County Health Service Building, Conference room B, 414 East Main Street Durham, NC (around ½ miles from the project).
Bids due Tuesday, February 27, 2024 @ 5:00 PM.

This project has a 30% Historically Underutilized Business goal (HUB). We are asking all vendors to give a good faith effort in soliciting any lower tier vendors (material/labor or both) that are certified with the state of North Carolina Historically underutilized and minority vendors.
This project has a 30% HUB goal. 17% Minority and 13% women owned businesses.
Attached to the Bid package is the Section 3 Labor Forecast form from Forever Home. It is a required to be filled out as part of your bid. The goal for the project is to have 25% of labor man hours be Section 3 employees and % 5 of these Section 3 employees within a 1-mile radius of the project. For Income limit status, please reference the following link for Durham area: https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/il/il2022/2022summary.odn .
An employee qualifies as section 3 if their household income falls within the established income levels. Rates for additional cities/areas can be provided upon request.
M/WBE MUST BE CERTIFIED OR ELIGIBLE FOR CERTIFICATION BY THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA AND THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA HUB OFFICE.
