REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #6686
CUSTODIAL SERVICES
Sealed proposals will be received by the Guilford County Schools (GCS) Purchasing Department at 501 W. Washington St. Greensboro, NC 27401 until October 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM EST for Custodial Services and Event Service Support at the following site:
- PCEC Building – 2703 East Florida Street Greensboro, NC 27401.
For a twelve (12) month period beginning on or about 01/01/25, and ending 6/30/25, the proposal includes an option to renew for four (4) consecutive one-year periods upon mutual agreement between GCS and the successful contractor.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held October 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM EST in Room 100 at 501 W. Washington St. Greensboro, NC 27401. Non-mandatory site visits will be held October 16, 2024, a schedule of times will be provided at the pre-proposal meeting, which is being held on October 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM EST.
Minority businesses are encouraged to submit proposals for this project. The Guilford County Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A-3.
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities. GCS reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not considered to be in the best interest of GCS, to negotiate with one or more of the companies submitting proposals, or to reject all proposals.
