Sealed proposals will be received until 3:00 pm March 14, 2024, at Central Regional Hospital, 300 Veazey Rd, Butner, NC 27509 for the DHHS-Central Regional Hospital Patient Bathroom Safety Upgrades – A Tower; SCO ID# 17-18175-01B.

A PDF electronic file of bid documents will be provided to contractors free of charge starting on February 19, 2024.
A virtual Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 2:00 pm on 2/29/2024, via the Zoom link below.

A site visit will be held at 10:00 am on 3/4/2024, at Central Regional Hospital, 300 Veazey Rd, Butner, NC 27509. All attendees of the site visit shall meet in the lobby of Central Regional Hospital by 10:00 am.
Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Alternate Bids for Preferred Products.
An open public meeting will be held virtually following the virtual Pre-Bid. The meeting is to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards pertinent to this project. In accordance with GS133-3, Section 64. (C) and State Construction Office procedures the following preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the owner for this project:
- Preferred Alternate A: Hygienic Wall Covering – Provide hygienic Altro Whiterock wall covering as manufactured by Altro.
- Preferred Alternate B: Safety Flooring – Provide Aquarius by Altro.
The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
