NOTICE OF SUBCONTRACTOR QUALIFICATION REQUEST:
T. A. Loving has been selected as the Construction Manager by East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and is seeking to pre-qualify subcontractor to submit bids for the ECU Legacy Hall Renovation located at College Hill Dr. on the ECU Main campus in Greenville, NC. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The “Legacy Residence Hall Renovation” is a major modernization project for the five-level, 92,558 square-foot structure with mixed masonry and concrete. The renovation includes the construction of a new lobby and elevator with deep foundation improvements. Updates also feature the replacement of windows, selective veneer repairs. renovation and relocation of bathroom facilities on each floor to meet ADA standards. Additional work includes selective corridor renovations, door replacement, replacing the dorm HVAC units, and a full roof replacement. The following bid package Prequalifications are being accepted: 0100 General Trades, 0105 Final Cleaning, 0200 Demolition and Abatement, 0300 Concrete, 0400 Masonry, 0500 Structural Steel, 0600 Millwork, 0700 Roofing, 0725 Applied Fireproofing, 0750 Metal Panels, 0790 Caulking and Waterproofing, 0800 Doors, Frames and Hardware, 0840 Glass and Glazing, 0925 Drywall Assemblies, 0930 Hard Tile, 0960 Soft Flooring, 0964 Resinous Flooring, 0980 Acoustical Ceilings and Treatment, 0990 Painting, 1000 Specialties, 1010 Signage, 1220 Window Treatment, 1400 Elevator, 2100 Fire Protection, 2200 Plumbing, 2300 HVAC, 2600 Electrical, 2605 Electrical Ductbank, 3100 Sitework, 3163 Deep Foundation Systems, 3290 Landscaping and Irrigation. Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged.
