INVITATION FOR BIDS 

EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM REPLACEMENT
FOR ASTOR DOWDY TOWERS, MOREHEAD
COURTS, AND ELM TOWERS 20251901

Sealed bids will be received by the Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HPHA) at 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, NC for 20251901 Emergency Call System Replacement for Astor Dowdy Towers, Morehead Courts, and Elm Towers until 10:00 a.m. local time, July 30, 2025. Immediately following the deadline, the bids will be publicly opened at HPHA. Any bid received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or mailed, will be disqualified. Faxed, Emailed, or any other unsealed submissions will not be accepted.

The HPHA is pursuing a project to replace the Emergency Call Systems at Astor Dowdy Towers, Morehead Courts, and Elm Towers. The project includes removing the existing emergency call system and providing a wireless new emergency call system at each high-rise building.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on July 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Astor Dowdy Towers, 701 E. Green Drive, High Point, NC. All interested companies may obtain IFB documents through an email to [email protected] or HPHA’s website at www.hpha.net. All questions must be sent to HPHA by 5:00 p.m. on July 10, 2025. Any addendum will be issued by 5:00 p.m. on July 14, 2025. It is important that the offeror’s bid be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked in the lower left–hand corner with the following information: 20251901 Sealed Bid for Emergency Call System Replacement for Astor Dowdy Towers, Morehead Courts, and Elm Towers.” Please send one (1) copy of your bid.

It is very important that each company sends to HPHA all the required paperwork.

Contract for work under this IFB will oblige the contractor to not discriminate in employment practices.

The HPHA reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive minor informalities in the bidding/IFB process.
