Pursuant to Section 143-129 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals endorsed “Franklin County EMS” will be received by Franklin County, at the Administration Building-2nd Floor Conference Room, located at 113 Market Street, Louisburg, NC 27549 until 3:00 P.M., on May 30, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.
Bids shall be reviewed by the Owner for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the construction of the Franklin County EMS. Bidders shall be advised of the results. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract.
The project consists of the construction of a new EMS Station of approximately 6,000 square feet to include the following spaces: (2) double apparatus bays, bay storage, decontamination room, lobby, (1) office, fitness room, (4) sleeping rooms, day room, general storage, and accessories spaces.
An open Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on May 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Administration Building- 2nd Floor Conference Room, located at 113 Market Street, Louisburg, NC 27549. This meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms.
Complete plans and specifications for this project are available free of charge for a Digital Download or for $350.00 (refundable) deposit by cash or certified check for hard copies.
