GTCC – CENTER FOR ADVANCED MANUFACTURING (JAMESTOWN CAMPUS) –
FAME/IMC CLASSROOMS & LABS RENOVATION
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the renovation of approximately 18,000 sq. ft. of existing warehouse space in the Center for Advanced Manufacturing at 6012 W. Gate City Blvd. for the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) First in Flight Chapter. The renovation will include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, data distribution, and networking modifications required to replicate a factory/manufacturing environment. Architectural modifications include polished concrete floors, acoustical wall treatments, suspended ceilings, painting, and converting the existing dock doors to storefront windows.
Pre-bid Meeting
An open pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m. EDT in the GTCC Campus Operations Building, 1003 Bonner Drive, Jamestown, NC 27282 in Room 1128. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms.
Bid Opening
Sealed bids will be opened and read on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 4 p.m. EDT in GTCC Campus Operations Building, 1003 Bonner Drive, Jamestown, NC 27282 in Room 1128.
Complete electronic plans, specifications, and contract documents are available from CPL Architects & Engineers P.C. by email to [email protected] and in the plan rooms of eConstructConnect and Dodge Data and Analytics.
Questions regarding the construction documents shall be directed in writing to CPL Architects and Engineers P.C., Attention: Lauren Beverly at [email protected] . All questions must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. No verbal requests for construction document clarification will be considered. A final addendum, if required, will be issued no later than 12:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
GTCC reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals. The HUB participation goal for this project is minimally 10%.
