GTCC FAME Renovations project located in Jamestown, NC

Blum Construction will accept proposals until 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, for the GTCC FAME Renovations project located in Jamestown, NC.

This project consists of renovations to existing warehouse space in the Center for Advanced Manufacturing at Guilford Technical Community College’s Jamestown campus for the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) First in Flight Chapter.  This renovation will include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, data distribution, and networking modifications required to replicate a factory/manufacturing environment.  Architectural modifications include polished concrete floors, acoustical wall treatments, suspended ceilings, painting, and converting the existing dock doors to storefront windows.

This project has a 10% MWBE participation goal.  Please include all MWBE forms with all bids.  If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know.  Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome.  Examples of Trade Partner Support:  quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
