Hammocks Beach State Park, Bear Island Water & Sewer Improvements

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by Dwayne Parker with North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks & Recreation until 2 PM on May 13, 2024, at the Hammocks Beach State Park Visitors Center (1572 Hammocks Beach Rd. Swansboro, NC 28584), for Hammocks Beach State Park, Bear Island Water & Sewer Improvements.  At that time and location, all bids received will be open and read.

The Project consists of the replacement of the existing septic system and water distribution system, to include the replacement of the hydro-pneumatic tank and associated water treatment system, and necessary modification of the building that houses those components.

Complete plans and specifications for this project can be viewed and obtained from the bid room of Duncan Parnell, https://www.duncan-parnell.com/planrooms , 201 Glenwood Ave. Raleigh, NC 27603, and can be reached at (919)-833-4677 or (800) 849-7709.  A refundable plan deposit of one hundred and Fifty dollars ($150.00) in cash, check payable to Duncan Parnell, or credit card is required for each set.  Contractor will be responsible for all shipping costs.

Contractors interested in bidding as prime bidders are required to attend the mandatory pre-bid and preferred brand alternatives meeting, which will be held on April 22, 2024, at 2:30 PM at the Hammocks Beach State Park Visitors Center (1572 State Rd. 1511, Swansboro, NC 28584).  In accordance with GS 133-3 and SCO procedures, this meeting will identify preferred brand items, of which there are none, and those considered as alternates by the owner for this project.  NCDNCR reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
