Project Description:
The Project consists of interior renovations of an existing 21,316 square foot single story elementary school building including site development, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. The building is being converted from an elementary school to an economic development center for Hertford County. Interior work includes reassignment of spaces, handicap accessibility upgrades, and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems. Construction includes replacement of the existing roof. Site development includes new paved parking areas, sidewalks, and grading.

MBE/WBE/SBE/DBE/HUB participation is encouraged. Elements of the work may be combined or broken down to facilitate minority participation. Assistance with bonding or insurance requirements as well as quick pay arrangements are available to enable minority contractors to meet cash-flow demands. Email bids to [email protected].
