ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

ITB: BOLIVIA TRANSMISSION FORCE MAIN 

Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. ET on June, 16, 2025, in the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center at 250 Grey Water Rd NE, Supply, NC 28462, for the construction of: Bolivia Transmission Force Main and shortly thereafter the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. The contract shall be Single Prime. A general description of the work includes: 

Project Description: Provide all labor, materials, and incidentals for the installation of the Bolivia Transmission Force Main which includes (but is not necessarily limited to): approximately 44,700 total LF linear feet of 24” Force main along with all required appurtenances, jack and bores, horizontal directional drills, erosion control, clearing and grading, traffic control, landscape and connections to existing force mains. The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required. 

Pre-Bid Meeting: An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders and vendors on June 2, 2025, at 11:00 am at 250 Grey Water Rd NE, Supply, NC 28462. Directions are as follows: From Wilmington follow US 17 toward Supply. Turn right onto Hwy. 211 heading toward Bolton. Turn right onto Grey Water Road in approximately one mile (beside athletic park). Utilities Operations Center is on right. 

Site Visitation: Inspection of the proposed construction site will be allowed outside of the pre-bid meeting by approval of Brunswick County. Email Mario Barron at [email protected] in order to schedule a visit. No site visitation will be approved within ten (10) days of bid date.
