ITB: OAK ISLAND RE-PUMP MATERIALS

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 143-129, Brunswick County is soliciting sealed bids for materials to support the replacement of a deteriorated sewer line with new 24-inch pipe at the Oak Island Re-Pump Station. The existing infrastructure has exceeded its useful life and requires replacement. All materials must comply with the County’s specifications as referenced in the Brunswick County Engineering Design Manual for Water & Sewer Systems, also available at our website www.brunswickcountync.gov.

Those interested should submit one (1) hard copy of the bid.  Bids may only be mailed or hand delivered to the following:

Sealed bids must be received no later than July 3, 2025, 3:00 pm ET, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center Admin Conference Room located at 250 Grey Water Road, Supply, NC 28462. Brunswick County will not be responsible for the failure of any mail or delivery service to deliver a bid prior to the stated date and time. Regardless of the manner of submission, any bid received after the stated date and time will not be considered. Incomplete bids or bids inconsistent with the required format may be disqualified from consideration.

Questions or requests for further information regarding this Invitation to Bid shall be submitted in writing to the attention of Trent Murphy at [email protected] no later than June 20, 2025, at 3:00 pm ET.  A copy of all questions, further clarifications, and answers will be made in the form of an Addendum to this Invitation to Bid and will be provided to all known bidders and posted on the County’s website.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, bidders will be responsible for ensuring that they have all addenda.
