NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by North Carolina State University and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and tools for the NCSU Polk Hall in Raleigh, NC.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project is for a renovation to North Carolina State University’s Polk Hall to address program and facility needs and prepare for coordination with the new neighboring Integrated Sciences building. The renovation includes modernization of lab, office, and other core building facilities facility and programmatic needs. Architectural scope will include a portion of the ground floor and third floor labs, offices, and circulation spaces, primarily Polk Hall as well as upgrades to the roof, envelope, and exterior. In the Northwest section of the building. MEP/FP work will span the entirety of the building, focusing on the Northwest section of the building, including work on the roof. Ground and third floor scopes will include labs include upgrades to Biochemistry and Animal Science spaces on both Microbiology the ground and third floor. Animal science labs. Scope on the third floor will include removal and abatement of existing flooring by NC State, removal of existing mobile casework by NC State, removal of old/outdated laboratory systems, selective demolition, finishes, doors and hardware, laboratory casework and fume hood, selective removal and replacement of outdated MEP/FP systems.
