UNCW Brooks Field Improvements project located in Wilmington, NC

NOTICE TO BIDDERS 

Blum Construction will accept proposals until 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, for the UNCW Brooks Field Improvements project located in Wilmington, NC.

This project consists of improvements and repairs to the Brooks Baseball Field on UNCW’s campus.  Scope of work to include renovations to the existing playing surface to meet NCAA standards, while replacing the natural sod field with an artificial turf field to decrease maintenance and increase playability.  Work will also include replacing the dugouts with larger units set to the proper elevation and include ADA compliance and a restroom for each unit.

This project encourages all MWBE participation.  Please include the provided MWBE forms with all bids.  If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know.  Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome.  Examples of Trade Partner Support:  quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
