RE-ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
MORROW MOUNTAIN STATE PARK
WATER & SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
Sealed proposals will be received by Justin Williamson with North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks & Recreation until 2:00 PM on March 4, 2025, at the Morrow Mountain State Park Office & Visitors Center (49104 Morrow Mountain Rd. Albemarle, NC 28001), for the Morrow Mountain State Park Water & Sewer Improvements project. At that time and location, all bids received will be open and read.
The Project consists of the installation of approximately 1,950 linear feet of 4-inch waterline and 4,200 linear feet of 2-inch waterline, with connections to the existing park facilities and the disconnection of one (1) existing well. The project also includes the replacement of three (3) septic systems (treatment, conveyance & dispersal) at campground loops A & C as well as the campground RV dump station.

Bidding on this project is subject to a mandatory pre-bid and preferred brand alternatives meeting, which was held on February 4, 2025 at the Morrow Mountain State Park Office & Visitors Center (49104 Morrow Mountain Rd. Albemarle, NC 28001). **ONLY THOSE CONTRACTORS WHO ATTENDED THE PRE-BID MEETING ARE ELIGIBLE TO BID.** NCDNCR reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
