EC Office is actively soliciting bids for Nags Head Sound Front Improvements. Due 07/18/2025 @ 1:00 p.m.).

Project Description:
The Project consists of the construction of wooden boardwalks, gazebo, observation platforms, a pergola, boat docks, an entry sign, concrete sidewalks, low retaining walls, electrical service, lighting, and connections to existing elevated wooden walkways.

Base Bid – The Base Bid for this contract shall consist of the following:

(1)  Approx. 408’ of Ten Foot Wide Concrete Walkway
(2)  A Retaining Wall
(3)  Approx. 1570’ of 9’ Wide Wooden Walkway
(4)  Three (3) Half Round Observation Decks
(5)  A Gazebo with Electrical Service
(6)  Welcome Sign

Alternate Bids – Alternate Bids for this contract shall consist of the following:

(1)  6’ Wide Sound Access Walkway with Steps
(2)  Approx.124’ Ten Foot Wide Concrete Walkway
(3)  Approx. 126’  Ten Foot Wide Concrete Walkway, 212 Feet of 9’ Walkway, & Pergola
(4)  Approx. 275’ Ten Foot Wide Concrete Walkway
(5)  Approx. 217’ of 9’ Walkway
(6)  Approx. 108’ of Six Wide Pier with five, 4’wide Finger Piers with 7 Boat Slips with Mooring Piles Also Removal of some Mooring Piles

MBE/WBE/SBE/DBE/HUB participation is encouraged. Elements of the work may be combined or broken down to facilitate minority participation.
