New Franklin High School and Stadium project

Macon County is accepting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk for the New Franklin High School and Stadium project until 4:00 pm on March 6, 2024.  Submit proposals to Macon County, Attn:  Lindsay Leopard, Accountant/Purchasing Agent, 5 W Main Street, Franklin, NC 28734.  Pre-construction, procurement and construction services are included in the scope of work for the on-site replacement of the high school and stadium on the current campus of Franklin High School.

All proposals must demonstrate compliance with all aspects of North Carolina law and Macon County policy, including MBE and other requirements.  As a general guide to prospective proposers, the Construction Manager-at-Risk Selection Procedures adopted by the North Carolina State Building Commission, appropriately modified for use by Macon County, will be employed in this process.  The owner may or may not interview potential candidates to assist in the selection process.  The owner retains the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.  All minority and historically underutilized businesses are hereby encouraged to provide a proposal.

A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 2:00 pm on February 21, 2024, at the Franklin High School Media Center, 100 Panther Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
