Blum Construction will accept proposals until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, for the Paramount Theaters Renovation & Addition project located in Burlington, NC.

The City of Burlington is seeking assistance in the renovation and addition to the Paramount Theater located in Burlington, NC. Work will include demolition of an existing 1-story building; construction of a new 3-story, 10,000 SF building with an occupiable roof deck; and upgrade/replacement of plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm systems as well as performance lighting, sound, rigging systems, and theater seating in the existing Paramount Theater.

This project has a goal of 10% MWBE participation. Please include the provided MWBE forms with all bids. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support:  quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
