Park Road Park Pond – Sediment Removal Project

INVITATION FOR BIDS 

Mecklenburg County Asset and Facility Management will receive single prime, unit cost, sealed bids for the Park Road Park Pond – Sediment Removal Project until 2:00 pm EST., Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at which time bids will be opened at Valerie C. Woodard Center, 3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 6000, Charlotte, NC, Room 6003. Bid, Performance, and Payment & Material bonds are required. NC law and applicable regulations of various licensing boards and MWBE provisions will be observed. The project involves either hydraulic dredging, mechanical dredging or a combination of the two methods to remove sediment from the Eastern portion of Park Road Park pond, clearing overgrowth along the pond banks, tree removal and repair of any damage done to the existing asphalt trail surrounding the pond during construction. Mecklenburg County reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will occur at 10:00 am EST., Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at the Park Road Park Pavilion parking lot located at 543 Park Road Park Service Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
