NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS 

NOTICE OF SUBCONTRACTOR QUALIFICATION REQUEST 

Barnhill Contracting Company and T. A. Loving GTP, a joint venture, have been selected as the Construction Manager by the North Carolina Global TransPark in Kinston, North Carolina, and is seeking to pre-qualify subcontractors to submit bids for the Phase 1 Early Site Development portion of the Fleet Readiness Center East, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul project located in Kinston, NC.  PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The project includes but is not limited to a taxiway from the runway to the C-130 complex, aircraft parking spaces with drive-thru capability, a defuel area, a hangar with maintenance bays for C-130s and HH-60s, back shops/supporting shops and a Flight Test hangar.  The following bid package Prequalifications are being accepted:  BP 2610 Site Electrical Ductbanks, BP3100 Turnkey Site and Utilities, BP3123Site Concrete/Batch Plants, and BP3231 Fences and Gates.

Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged.  A HUB Outreach session is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 5^th, 2024, at Spirit AeroSystems Composite Center of Excellence, Auditorium 142, 3800 Hiway 58 North Kinston, NC 28504.  Meeting shall be held in person as well as via Zoom link://https://barnhillcontracting.zoom.us/j/84674959964.  Interested contractors should submit their completed Prequalification Package by March 18, 2024, to Scott Wynne at T.
