ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

Sealed proposals will be received by Kenneth Pearce, PE of the North Carolina State Ports Authority in the Maritime Building, Executive Board Room, 2202 Burnett Blvd., Wilmington, NC, 28401, (910) 746-6412, up until 2:00 PM, March 14, 2024, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the construction of POW Maritime Building HVAC Controls and Outside Air Fan Coil Unit Replacement, North Carolina State Ports Authority, Port of Wilmington, NCSPA Contract No. 1769.

Bids will be received for single prime construction contract.  Bidders should clearly indicate on the outside of the bid envelope “Bid Proposal for:  POW MARITIME BUILDING HVAC CONTROLS AND OUTSIDE AIR FAN COIL UNIT REPLACEMENT, PORT OF WILMINGTON”, their NC General Contractor’s License Number and that the bid is for “Single Prime Bid”.

The project includes furnishing materials, labor, and equipment identified in the contract documents to perform all work associated with the POW Maritime Building HVAC Controls and Outside Air Fan Coil Unit Replacement located on the North Carolina State Ports Authority property at the Port of Wilmington.

An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders and vendors on February 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the North Carolina State Ports Authority in the Maritime Building, Executive Board Room located at 2202 Burnett Boulevard, Wilmington, NC 28401.  Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory, but all Bidders should attend this conference and/or visit the site in order to acquaint themselves with conditions and job requirements.

The owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities.
