Program Director, Dental Assisting

PROGRAM DIRECTOR,
DENTAL ASSISTING

 

Minimum Qualifications: Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and Diploma from an accredited dental assisting program.
  • Licensing requirement:   Dental Assisting National Board-Certified Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, or Dentist licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina

Experience  

  • Instruction in educational theory and methodology, e.g., curriculum development, educational psychology, test construction, measurement, and evaluation, required
  • A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent experience as a clinical dental assistant; Occupational experience in applying dentistry principles, either as a dental assistant or working with a chairside assistant, is required.
