CITY OF BREVARD,

PUMP STATION REHABILITATION
AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT
NO. SRP-W-ARP-0236 

Sealed Bids for construction of the Pump Station Rehabilitation and Replacement project will be received at the Council Chambers at Brevard City Hall, 95 W. Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712 until 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Brevard City Council Chambers at 95 W. Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712.

A pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, at 10:00AM at the Council Chambers at Brevard City Hall, 95 W. Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712 to discuss the requirements of the Contract Documents.

Complete Bidding Documents may be obtained from Accent Imaging, 8121 Brownleigh Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617, (919) 782-3332, or at www.planscope.com (Accent Imaging’s Planroom).  A hard copy of the Bidding Documents plus electronic files may be obtained for a nonrefundable fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00).  Alternatively, an electronic copy of the Bidding Documents can be obtained at no charge.

Contract Documents must be obtained through Accent Imaging to be on the bidder’s list.  Bids will only be accepted from companies listed on the bidders list.  To remain up to date on any Addenda, changes, or information notices, please send an email to [email protected] indicating your intention to prepare a Bid for the Project.  Failure to complete this step may render your Bid non-responsive.

With each request for Bidding Documents, supply the following information:  Company name, contact person, street address, phone number, and email address for Bidding point of contact; N.C. contractor’s license with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Prime bidder, Supplier or Sub- Contractor.  Neither the City nor the Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bid Documents including any addendum obtained from any other source. 

Bidding Documents may also be viewed at Engineer’s office and online at:  Construct Connect and McGraw Hill Dodge Company.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid.  Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids.  The Successful Bidder must furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner.
