RAW WATER SYSTEM EXPANSION
CONTRACT 19.1 – RAW WATER WELL IMPROVEMENTS 

Bids for Contract 19.1 – Raw Water Well Improvements will be received by the City of Laurinburg until 5:00 pm local time on Thursday, April 3, 2025.  Bids shall be submitted via email to Harold Haywood at [email protected].  Receipt of the Bid will be acknowledged by return email.  The Project consists of renovating the meter vaults at fourteen well sites located in the City of Laurinburg, including replacing piping and flow meters and reconnecting pressure transmitters.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at Willis Engineers, 10700 Sikes Place, Suite 115, Charlotte, North Carolina 28277, 704.377.9844 on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at City of Laurinburg, at City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352; on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is Duncan Parnell (https://bidroom.duncan-parnell.com).  Documents may be obtained for a purchase price as listed on their website.  All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell.  Prospective bidders must purchase Bidding Documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, March 20 at the Laurinburg Water Treatment Plant Conference Room, 603 Lauchwood Drive, Laurinburg, NC 28352.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
