REPAVE PARKING LOTS AT MAIN OFFICE, ASTOR DOWDY TOWERS, MOREHEAD COURTS, AND ELM TOWERS

Sealed Bids will be received by the Housing Authority of the City of High Point (HPHA), 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, NC for Repave Parking Lots at Main Office, Astor Dowdy Towers, Morehead Courts and Elm Towers until 10:00 a.m. local time, Aug 20, 2024. Immediately following the deadline, the bids will be publicly opened at HPHA. Any bid received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or mailed, will be disqualified. Emailed, faxed, or other unsealed submissions will not be accepted.
BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK
Contractor will provide all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to complete the removal and replacement of asphalt pavement parking, new striping and pavement marking work at HPHA’s Main Office (Approx. Area 52,961 SF), Astor Dowdy Towers (Approx. Area 19,042 SF), Morehead Courts (Approx. Area 26,219 SF), and Elm Towers (Approx. Area 36,043 SF) all located in High Point, NC 27260.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on July 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at 500 E. Russell Ave., High Point, 27260. All interested Contractors may obtain IFB documents through HPHA’s website at www.hpha.net , or by sending an email request to [email protected] and [email protected] . All questions must be sent to HPHA by 11:00 a.m. on Aug 1, 2024. An addendum will be issued by 6:00 p.m. on Aug 5, 2024. It is important that the bids be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked in the lower left–hand corner with the name of the project: “Repave Parking Lots at Main Office, Astor Dowdy Towers, Morehead Courts and Elm Towers – 20240901”.

- Performance/Payment Bond Certification
- References/Experience
- Bid Bond
- North Carolina Contractor’s License for all Prime Contractors and Subcontractors
It is very important that each company sends to HPHA all of the required paperwork.

The HPHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals and to waive minor informalities in the bidding/IFB process.
