CITY OF SANFORD FY22 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION PROGRAM 

JACKSON HEIGHTS PROJECT

The City of Sanford is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide design services necessary to complete a FY 2022 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Neighborhood Revitalization Project.  The CDBG-NR program consists of the installation of public infrastructure for both existing and new single-family houses located along Charlotte Avenue from 11th to 17th streets and serving the Jackson Heights neighborhood.  The project will provide for infrastructure improvements to public utility services to be developed including grading/erosion, water and sewer lines, streets, street resurfacing, sidewalks, multi-use path, flood, and drainage improvements/curb and gutters.  The FY 2022 CDBG-NR Program will be financed with $4,947,521 of CDBG funds (100% of total program costs).  Copies of the detailed request for qualifications engineering design services, including a description of the services to be provided by the respondents, proposal submission requirements and the factors used to evaluate the responses may be obtained from Amanda Scott, Engineering Administrative Assistant II, Sanford/TriRiver Water, P.O.
