CITY OF SANFORD FY22 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION PROGRAM
WASHINGTON AVENUE PROJECT
The City of Sanford is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide design services necessary to complete a FY 2022 Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Neighborhood Revitalization Project. The CDBG-NR program consists of the installation of public infrastructure for 45 lots of a new single-family affordable housing development and a 16-unit supportive housing, multi-family development, on Washington Avenue. The project will provide for infrastructure improvements including grading/erosion, water and sewer lines, streets, sidewalks, curb and gutters, and pedestrian improvements. The FY 2022 CDBG-NR Program will be financed with $950,000 of CDBG funds (30.64% of total program costs). Copies of the detailed request for qualifications engineering design services, including a description of the services to be provided by the respondents, proposal submission requirements and the factors used to evaluate the responses may be obtained from Amanda Scott, Engineering Administrative Assistant II, Sanford/TriRiver Water, P.O.
