EC Office is actively soliciting bids for Roanoke Island Aquarium Bulk Salt Handling System Due 03/25 2025 @ 3:00 p.m.).

Project Description:
The project involves modification of the bulk salt system in the Quarantine Building at the Roanoke Island Aquarium in Manteo, NC.  The existing building consists of steel roof framing, concrete block walls, and a concrete floor slab.  Part of the slab is on-grade and part is over concrete tanks that are used to create saltwater solution by combining fresh water with salt.  There are several 20″ x 24″ grated openings in the elevated slab.

MBE/WBE/SBE/DBE/HUB participation is encouraged.  Elements of the work may be combined or broken down to facilitate minority participation.  Assistance with bonding or insurance requirements as well as quick pay arrangements are available to enable minority contractors to meet cash-flow demands.  Email bids to [email protected] .  Plans/specs are available on our website, www.archesson.com/bids .  For more information, contact us at 800-849-4486.  A.
