Bid Location and Time:
Barnhill Contracting Company will receive, open, and read publicly all bids received at the Overton Elementary School Media Center, 1825 W Park Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144 on June 27, 2024 @ 2:00 pm. A Microsoft Teams Meeting option is offered for Bid Day by using Meeting ID: 232 467 910 360.
Bids will not be accepted from bidders that are not pre-qualified. No facsimile or email submissions are permitted. Sealed bids delivered to the Raleigh office of Barnhill Contracting Company, 4325 Pleasant Valley Rd., Raleigh, NC 27612, are to be received by 12:00 pm on June 26, 2024, to Attention: Eric Pond. All hand delivered bids to Overton Elementary School Media Center, 1825 W Park Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144, are to be received on June 27, 2024, by 2:00 pm to the Attention: Matt Baker. PREBID Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Overton Elementary School Media Center, 1825 W Park Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144, and via online Teams Meeting ID: 242 264 473 610. Project Site Walk to follow directly after Pre-bid meeting for those that wish to attend in person.
In accordance with General Statute GS 133-3, Specifications may list one or more preferred brands as an alternate to the base bid in limited circumstances. The following items are being considered for this project: Door hardware, including panic devices, door closers, strikes, exit devices, locks and cylinders, closers, and power door operators/access control equipment; food service equipment, security equipment, including intrusion detection/burglar alarm panels and associated hardware, security cameras and accessories; building automation control systems, fire alarm system equipment, intercom system, and elevators. A copy of pertinent sections of the performance standards may be obtained by contacting BARNHILL CONTRACTING COMPANY.
