Sealed proposals will be received in the Cumberland County Schools’ Plant Operations Center, 810 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306 until: 10:00 am on Thursday, October 3, 2024.  At which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the Southview High School Electrical Switchboard Replacement 10:15 am on Thursday, October 3, 2024.  At which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the Max Abbott Middle School Electrical Switchboard Replacement.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 . Contractors interested in bidding shall meet at Southview High School, 4184 Elk Rd, Hope Mills, NC 28348.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Contractors interested in bidding shall meet at Max Abbott Middle School, 590 Winding Creek Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28305.

The Designer will issue complete Bid Documents electronically. Contact Locklear, Locklear & Jacobs, PLLC (LL&J) PO Box 3119 Pembroke, North Carolina 28372, for complete bidding requirements. Contact Number for LL&J is 910-774-9306. Bid Bond is required, and Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. Certain MBE guidelines must be followed.

Proposals will be received from contractors licensed per G.S.87. Certain MBE guidelines must be followed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
